The Palouse in Winter
These images are from a recent mid-winter trip to an area in the south-east corner of  Washington state known as The Palouse. The distinctive landscape is one of endless rolling hills, which in the winter snow look a lot like white sand dunes, but in the rest of the year are covered in a colourful patchwork of a variety of crops.
